Life Balance v4.0.4 for Mac is released

Life Balance v4.0.4 is released for download for our Macintosh clients.

Many of the issues reported for Life Balance v4 have been dependent on the combination of processor, conduit manager and version of the operating system. We have revised our procedures to expand our automated testing of Life Balance to more configurations to address that directly for 4.0.4.

Status briefing for Missing Sync for Palm users of Life Balance 4.0.3

If you are using a Palm handheld, Missing Sync, and Life Balance 4.0.3 for Macintosh, the Hotsync menu will not appear in the desktop software, and the conduit will not install automatically when you first launch Life Balance.

You can still install the conduit manually:

1. Install Life Balance 4.0.3.

2. Control-click on the Life Balance icon and choose "Show Package Contents".

3. Open the Contents > SharedSupport folder.

Life Balance v4.0.3 is now posted

Version 4.0.3 of Life Balance includes several changes particularly helpful for Palm users. The most important of the changes was to speed up Palm Hotsync for users of Palm's Desktop software on Macintosh. The change is generally useful, but most helpful for those on Leopard.

Another change was made to the Mac conduit to fix a Conduit Manager crash on some Mac systems.

Life Balance v4.0.3 also includes a bug fix for iCal sync users. We fixed a case where tasks that were scheduled to happen "Routinely" and that were also modified in iCal could change to "Once".
