I lost my license code or it stopped working.
Problem:
I lost my license - or Life Balance says my license code is invalid when I try to re-enter it.Solution:
If you've simply lost your license code, contact us by opening a ticket and we'll send you the license information again. Be sure to include your name, the name of the purchased who purchased the license (if not yours) email address, old email addresses you might have used, the platform (Windows, Palm, or Macintosh) and the approximate date when you purchased Life Balance.
If Life Balance says that your license is invalid, keep in mind that each license code is tied to a specific platform so make sure you are using the correct code on the correct platform. Palm codes begin with LBPA, Windows with LBWI, Macintosh Life Balance 3+ with LBMA, Macintosh Life Balance 4+ with LBMU, and retail license codes with LBDT. If you think you have a valid license and the application rejects it, send along what you are entering - sometimes it is just a matter of misplaced letters or numbers.
New License Codes are required for Life Balance 3+ for Palm OS. Your old 2+ license code - which does not start with LBPA - will be invalid in Life Balance 3+. The pre 3+ versions won't work with devices running Palm 4+. If you have a new device, chances are that you will need Life Balance 3+, available from our downloads page:

If you have installed Life Balance 4+ for the Macintosh desktop, you need to purchase an upgrade license. You can purchase a discounted add on license at our orders page:

Choose 'add on' as the type of license you want. You will be asked to provide the old License Code in order to receive an add on discount. If you have lost your old license, we will send it to you so you can enter it when you purchase. Please, please provide a valid 'reply-to' email address so that we can send your license to you - and enable us to send you email if you are using a filter which requires extra mail from us (i.e. spamarrest)
Before you purchase an upgrade or add-on license, make sure you need to buy a new license. Some upgrades are free!
We are not issuing new or replacement Palm Life Balance 2.0 licenses.

And.....remember that if you used Life Balance for thirty days in the past and not purchased...it might seem as though you had purchased when you really didn't! We will be glad to check that out for you.
And...if you demanded a refund, your license will have been retired so that it can't be used for upgrades or discounts or new downloads; in that case, the system will not accept the retired license. You will need a new one, not an add-on or upgrade.
