How many top level items can I have?

There can be many top level items in your outline - a good number is seven or less.Solution:
There's no fixed limit on the number of top level items you can have, but we recommend sticking to seven or fewer top level items. Beyond that, it becomes more difficult to decide on the relative importance and desired effort that you want the items to have.For speed, the pie charts will only display the first 20 top level items in your outline. You can have more than 20 top level items, but they won't show up in the pie charts.
