We've moved the Llamagraphics web site to a more spacious, modern server. Please let us know in the comments if you notice any problems on the site.

Mostly a smooth transition... Palm downloads are okay now

Hi there,

The combination of the new web site and the new server is fantastic! It provides a much better foundation for us to build upon.

We did have a couple of reports into the support center about the downloads for the Palm giving a permissions error. Easy to take care of.

That has been fixed now.

BUT, there is something strange with the "Who´s online"-part. For example... there is two of me online... on me is from yesterday when I logged on, but I forgot to log out. The other me is from today when I logged on.

AND 140 guest online ??? I think this is number of guest that had visited this site, NOT the total actually guest online at the same time. Yesterday there were about 112-115 guests online if I remember correctly.

Check up the "who´s online" counter... I think it need some tweaking... ;-)

the prior count was wrong too

The prior numbers were definitely not right. They were too low.

By looking at the web logs, the support center, and the total number of downloaders, we can tell that the web site is getting well over 1000 visitors per day on average. Sometimes it is a lot more than that, when we get an mention in the media, we send out a newsletter, or something else special is happening.

So, this "who's online" counter doesn't reflect the total traffic exactly, either. However, it should give a general sense of the number people who are on the site at the same time.

We can tweak it a bit, but it seems to only provide a rough measure of how much traffic the three of us Llamas are handling on a given day.
