Life Balance v4.0.4 is released for download for our Macintosh clients.

Many of the issues reported for Life Balance v4 have been dependent on the combination of processor, conduit manager and version of the operating system. We have revised our procedures to expand our automated testing of Life Balance to more configurations to address that directly for 4.0.4.

Each of the following configurations is passing over 43,000 automated tests. The full suite of automated tests include Palm HotSync and iCal sync tests. Tests were conducted using Missing Sync 6.0.2 beta 4 and Palm Desktop 4.2.1 running under Rosetta or natively as appropriate.

  • Intel, Missing Sync, Leopard
  • Intel, Missing Sync, Tiger
  • Intel, Palm Desktop under Rosetta, Leopard
  • Intel, Palm Desktop under Rosetta, Tiger
  • PowerPC, Missing Sync, Leopard
  • PowerPC, Missing Sync, Tiger
  • PowerPC, Palm Desktop, Leopard
  • PowerPC, Palm Desktop, Tiger
  • PowerPC, Palm Desktop, Panther

Note that we have not conducted the automated tests on PowerPC, Missing Sync, Panther. Tests on that configuration will be completed within the next few days.

The details for the changes since v4 are collected in the release notes.

We recommend that you check back often here for any new status messages and the new downloads for intermediate updates as they become available.
