Ever since I upgraded to 5.2.1, my LifeBalance crashes when making updates. This is getting increadably frustrating. Does anyone have the same experience, or a way to address this? HELP!

Try a repair install....

Hello there toko,

Thanks for getting in touch with us about this.

Are you getting any error message when it crashes? If you get a message saying that there is a crash log, you should send that to us in a Ticket.

The other thing that you can do, since you say this started after your upgrade, is to do a "repair" install, which clears most reports of this kind.

Give that a try, and let us know if that takes care of it for you.

Best wishes,

Repair Install

Can you explain what a repair install is, or how to do this?

Sure! :-)

Open the Add/Remove control panel... Select Life Balance.
Click on the text that says "Support Information" and a second window appears that has a repair button. Click on that.
That usually helps in situations like you describe.

Windows 5.2.1 Crashing

Bummer, tried the repair, but still experiencing crashes. Please let me know if you have anything else that can be done. If a do a clean install, is there a way to back up my current data and bring this in? If so, how do I create a back up file before I delete my current installation?

Clean install will not affect your data file...

If you need to do a clean install, that will not affect your data file for Life Balance.

Life Balance uses documents, with an extension of .LBD, so you can simply copy that file to a safe place or other media to make a backup.

I hope that is helpful and clear,

Try to uninstall then go

Try to uninstall then go click start>My computer>(C:)>Program Files look for the Life Balance folder then delete it.

Now reinstall Life Balance. Also, whenever my my computer is running slow I close the software and open it again.
