It means that that the item has a sync conflict between the desktop and your Palm - if you click on it you will get a dialog asking which version you want to keep, the desktop one or the palm one.
At the moment the conflict resolution dialog is a tad short on details (its on the llama's list...)
Murph is right. The yellow triangle is for reconciling hotsync conflicts, and we can definitely do more with this feature.
One thing to point out is that by giving you this choice, we avoid creating duplicates which is the behavior that is unfortunately "recommended" by the Conduit Developer's guidelines.
It is fairly tricky for us to provide that choice. We think that it is much more beneficial though than asking you to mow the lawn twice this week. :-)
I think that would make most of our customers pretty exasperated.

There's very little doubt that you do the right thing in prompting to resolve the conflict rather than creating duplicates - which wouldn't really work in LB. Much kudos to the llamas for knowing when not to follow the recommendations.
The only real issue is that since we can't yet see what the source of the conflict is it can sometimes be a challenge to decide which you should choose - and I know you're going to do something about it in due course :)
It does occur to me that there are times when you may have legitimately completed a task more than once so: can you put way way down at the bottom of the list a reconciliation option that allows one to accumulate credit for the tick(s) on both sides?
