some tasks show in outline but not in To Do list

I've been a LB user for over a year, so I think I know how the product works, but maybe I'm making some pilot error. I've got the priority, and date and updating etc all correct. Has this problem been seen before?

Reasons for an Outline task to not show in the To-Do list

There are many reasons why you might be seeing an Outline task not show up in your To Do list. I'm sure other forum members can add to this list, but here are a few off the top of my head.

Perhaps your To Do list is filtered to some other Place than that of your "missing" task, or that task...

* ...has a Place with Open/Closed hours set, and the current time is during Closed hours
* ...is in a project with the "Complete subtasks in order" checkbox checked, and some other open task occurs earlier in the project
* ...has a Time setting of Happens > By Calendar (for some future date beyond two lead times), or Happens > Routinely (with next occurrence beyond two lead times away)
* ...has its Importance set to none

There used to be an article in the knowledge base listing a series of settings to check to troubleshoot this but I can't find it now. Maybe try opening a ticket?
