Renaming Places
I want to do some extensive reorganizing and editing of my LB outline and system. If I rename a place (in the Place name window under the Place tab), will that changed place name be linked and propagated throughout my LB system to properly replace the prior place name (assuming the renamed place is a unique and unambiguous name)? Simple preliminary tests by me seem to indicate this works okay, but I want to be sure before I do a lot of work. I would like to do this for many place names. I use LB version 5.05 for Windows XP and a LB version 3.5 for Palm TX.

Thanks for your reply. I will of course curse you if you gave me the wrong advice. ;-) But, after doing a little research on you in the forums, it appears you are quite knowledgeable about LB. I've been using LB for about 7 years; it is an essential application for me. I currently plan to stick with a Palm; I've experimented with the iPhone, but I like having a nice narrow scribe so I can select between items that are real close together on the screen. I may become more comfortable with the iPhone over time, but I am comfortable with the Palm right now (I use a TX).
