Children of Recurring Tasks

Hi Everyone,

After a long, painful move to the dark side (PocketPC) I am back and I can REALLY say what a joy LB is!!
I have a question about children of recurrning tasks that I hope is not in the Advice book (at least, I couldn't find it). If I have a task that is set to repeat weekly on Tuesday (let's say it's linked to a datebook entry) and that item has a child (get ready for the thing on Tuesday ) how should the child be entered?
If I set it as a one time event, check it off, then the Tuesday event comes around and I check it off, then Sunday comes and my Tuesday event unchecks itself, what will happen to the child? Will it uncheck also? Or is it truly, one time?
