LB tasks v.s. appointments export issue

Importing tasks and appointments from my scheduler (Datebook 6) into LB works fine. In Datebook, I have not linked most tasks to appointments, but kept the categories the same for tasks and appointments. I set the top levels (importance to my life as a whole) in Life Balance to duplicate the categories in Datebook's appointments and tasks. But the export from LB to Datebook makes the appointments appear as tasks/to-dos. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I love both programs, Life Balance and Datebook, and need to use both because the slightly different approaches to time management are both VERY helpful in the work I do.

Suggestions appreciated.
