minor bug/improvement - "New Task" replacing task description, commit text

Here is an idea for a small improvement...

A few times I saw some "New task" task appear in my todo list... I thought I must have accidentally hit the new task button (maybe on my Iphone) and deleted those "New task" without second thought.
I finally realized that what must have happened, if you go in the outline view enter a new task and give it a name, and then don't hit enter but go to todo view immediately, then the name of the task is not saved and you get a "New task" task...
Now I realize that the "New task" that I deleted were probably things that I was trying not to forget to do... I survived so it is probably nothing too important, still if this could be corrected in a future version that would be nice!

Another small update bug...

In the same family of little update bugs, I finally nailed down another that I saw appearing sporadically. When you change the due date and then immediately change the lead-time time unit (drop down menu: minutes, hours, days, ...), then the due date is not changed and reverts back to today's date.
If after changing the date you first modify the input box for the number of days or hours then the date is registered OK.
(I have updated to 5.3, and this little bug is unfortunately still there, and by the way thank you for correcting the earlier update bug in this new release!)

Thank you for your nice work, now that I have my iPad, I am eagerly waiting for the iPad version!
