Updating Mac Version

I know there have been some suggestions about updating LB's interface in the Mac platform over the years, and I have to say that I agree with it more than ever now. After using the iPhone version of LB (5.1) for a few weeks, I have to say if Llamas can bring that interface to the Mac platform, I would be a happy camper. More and more, I find myself using iPhone to enter my data than my Mac, and that is saying something.

So, the new iPhone version is showing us the way to do this, and I would love to see it happen someday soon.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Right-i-o! Thanks for offering your impressions, and that you would be happy with something that looks more like the iPhone.

The new platform release on the iPhone still requires quite a bit of tending and work as we figure out how to navigate the App Store from a developer point of view, and make sure that the new mobile version is well received.

Of course, we will do another round of updates on the desktops as soon as llamaly possible.

Make LBmac more mac-like

I second that wish, I am a very visual person. I do a lot of stuff with my moleskine(s) and my hipster-pda, aware of doing thin design and no overhelming "abracadabra", but as a visual thinking man with graphical scibbling all around, I´d like to see some nice artwork-improvements at the mac version of Life Balance. Please, do not think about pink gadgets, blinking lights and ornaments, but the recent GUI is like SAP and the old Lotus Apps designed to the bad.

Sure you did some great work with the iPhone LB, but now, just feature-freeze for a while (LB is good enough for the moment) and polish the interface. Give the llama a kind coat.

Best for the moment,
Thorsten

I also agree!

Yes, the iPhone version is so nice that I am also less attracted to use the Mac version.

Some changes in UI, multiple selections, contextual menus (to copy, paste, duplicate, delete, change places), and rich notes (for adding links to files and URL) are in my opinion the next steps.

I am wondering if some parts of the Cocoa code for iPhone can be used to modernize the Mac version?

Keep up to nice works!

Martin

Just to bring this topic to review again.

The UI of LB is just clean, but not very slick. For the mac people here it´s like using a MS-DOS machine with Windows 3.1 in a window called "Life Balance".

Any time-slices for renewing the intreface?

Best, Thorsten
