Hyperlinks in the note field

Hi everyone,
I am wondering if there is a possibility that, in the future, we will be able to add true hyperlinks in the note field.
My concern is that more and more applications offer to copy a link to an item (for example, a page in VoodooPad or a item in DEVONthink 2), so that one can go directly to a specific place in those applications. Most of them create a link in such a way that when pasted in LB, the title of the link is pasted and not the URL to the link. For instance, I have a page in a VoodooPad document named "Project goal" (btw, I am using it to store project notes). When I copy the link of this page, and pasted it into the LB note field, instead of having the URL (something like x-voodoopad-item://0d18646d-ca98-4bae-a89e-3f6eabac0682 ), it is the page name "Project goal" that is pasted. I have the save behavior when using DEVONthink.
The way to solve this is to paste the link into a TextEdit document, copy the URL and paste it into LB.
Notes in LB are text only, not rich text. Is there plan to upgrade this?
Thanks.

Yes please
I have often posted requests for 'better' notes facilities, including ability to add proper URLs, buttons on the notes field to allow us to select files as links etc.
We can't even print them.
It's time for something better please, dear Llamas, especially on the desktop apps.

I agree
Not only for URL but also links to files; this allows all the reference material to be stored together with the task
FWIW the Windows version
FWIW the Windows version does support hyperlinks in the notes field.
Is there a technical
Is there a technical difference that makes it harder on the Mac?
Yes, Mac is different than Windows...
We did implement it on Mac, it was mostly working, but we ran into a problem, and pulled it. I forget exactly what the issue was, but it got more "involved" than we wanted to get into right then because we were otherwise ready to post a new version.
This was a relatively minor feature in the grand scheme of things... and I think everyone is happy that we shipped instead of waiting for that.

Mac's classic motto
"Real Artists Ship"
ie, hear hear (here here?)
"Real Artists Ship"
We've always taken that "Advice" to heart.
Shipping is good. It is difficult to push a product out the door.
It is much like pushing a baby bird out of the nest. It doesn't really know how to fly yet, but it can't stay here, and the only way to learn is to....
flap flap flap flap flap *smack*
and try again!

rubber birds. that's the solution. mother nature, are you listening? hello-oooo?
Dear Mother Nature...
As long as you are working on the rubber birds... could you please add some of that extra rubber padding to my knees and elbows too? Just a smidgeon would be helpful, especially when I'm sailing.
Also... we've had quite a lot of rain... might be time for a little bit of summer sun, to balance that out.
Thanks ever so much,

Any time soon ?
You are right, It is a minor feature.
Still, is there a plan on making it work in the near future ?
