Desktop, iPhone and Postpone Times
I'm really getting into the groove and liking the application. But I have discovered one little quirk.
When I Postpone Until... I can choose enter any date and time, but once it's saved, the time always reverts to midnight. So if I Postpone Until, say, 6/26 at 6:00 pm, it will show up on my to do list as 6/26 at 12:00 am.
At least, that's the way the desktop version works. If I sync to my iPhone, I can go in there, Postpone Until 6:00 pm, and have it show up at 6:00 pm on the To Do list. Moreover, when I sync again, the desktop now shows the 6:00 pm time as well.
How can I avoid this back and forth situation?

Hmm. That is not happening for me when I tested it on my mac with the more recent builds... so perhaps all you need to do is wait a bit, while we finalize the next set of posts and that will take care of itself?

Could be. Seemed like such a weird symptom that I wanted to see if anyone else noticed it. Keeping my fingers crossed until the next update!
Same happening for me
Same is happening to me, and that since quite some time .. always wanted to write a short notice about that, but was stupid enough to not put a todo into LB for it ;)

A little more testing to do...
Hi there,
Since it is not happening on the latest build, the next posting will likely take care of this for you.
We still have some more testing to do here. Not likely to be that long a wait.

Still having same problem as well
Still having same problem as well - using version 5.3 (9) on a Mac
Still having issues
Still having the same problem. According to the "About Life Balance" option, I'm currently running Version 5.3 (9) Did I miss an update?
Thanks, but how about some steps to show the problem?
Thanks. I am glad to have the information that you are having some similar quirky problem. We fixed several other strange event timing problems in 5.3 (9) and reports of this kind of thing have become rarer.
If you can provide a series of steps for us to take that will demonstrate the issue clearly, you will definitely increase the odds of us fixing it.
I recommend that you start by looking carefully at the details of your task, and the set up as well as the taps and views.
For instance, in 5.3 (9) some of the things we fixed had to do with people who were changing time zones, and with tasks that were scheduled to be exceptions to repeating events. There were some edge cases that we were not handling properly, and some of that is tricky code. So, I would believe that we might have missed something else like that.
The more specific you can be, the easier it will be for us to show the problem here under the debugger and to track this down for you in the next release.
Thanks very much! Glad to have your help in identifying any and all similar anomalies.
Best wishes,

Hi! Well, it happens anytime
Hi!
Well, it happens anytime I am using "postpone" - no matter what time i enter, it changes to 0:00. It doesnt matter in which view (at least i found so far no exceptions). I did not change time zones or something like that.
I made a short screencast to demonstrate a typical occasion:

(sorry for the Demo-text overlaid, but i believe you can see whats happening)
Thanks! :)

Is that what you were asking for? :)

Yes... that could be part of the story!
Yes... that could be part of the story!
We will set up a mac here with the same settings and see if we can get it to happen for us here.
Thanks for the report,

Update
Sorry I haven't respond earlier; new job keeping me busy!
The demo on shugi's post is exactly what happens on my desktop; change the time as shown and it always defaults to 00:00
If I make the change on the iPhone, however, and then sync, the desktop shows the time entered on iPhone
Preferred Language: English (System Preferences/Language & Text/Language)
Keyboard: US (System Preferences/Language & Text/Input Sources)
Time Zone: Mountain Standard (System Preferences/Date & Time/Time Zone)
Let me know if there's any other information that might be helpful.
Thanks again for looking into this issue!
