iPhone and calendars
I'm a long time user of life balance on palm/windows and find myself wanting an iPhone (ooooh shiny)
From what I gather though the iPhone app doesn't sync with other calendars on windows.
At the moment I have all the lifebalance tasks pushed into Outlook as appointments so I can project plan in conjunction with keeping an eye on client appointments and home commitments. I could manage if it did the same with google calendar but it seems that isn't the case either.
Can someone please let me know
a. if I'm correct?
b. if there is a workaround at all?
this could have serious consequences regarding my decision on which phone to go with

Hi Mandy, Not sure if this
Hi Mandy,
Not sure if this is exactly what you need, and I've not tried this myself, but you may want to look at a way of using ICS or CalDAV to link the two.
iPhones support both methods natively: IIRC, ICS is subscription-only, in that it's kinda like an RSS feed that publishes read-only info on events to a calendar; you configure the URL in the iPhone, and it pulls the events and shows them in the calendar.
CalDAV is much more flexible, in that you can read and write from various sources to a central server. Yahoo supports this - I create an appointment in my calendar on my iPhone (selecting the Yahoo CalDAV specifically), and it appears on my online calendar within seconds.
So - there is likely be a service to sync your Outlook calendar with a CalDAV server, which you can then sync natively with your iPhone.
