Did Subtasks lose inherits to parent-task?
Hello together,
i wondering, why my daily task doesn't appear in my todo list on the next day. after i take a look at the outline, espescially the tasks, i found out that the timing hast changed from "Ihnerhits from parent" to "once".
Now i deleted the complete Task-Routine and reentered these.
Now it looks like:
-Meals (Time: Every1 Day 2 Hours lead, Complete Subtasks in order)
--Breakfast
--Snack1
--Dinner
--snack2
--Lunch
After i entered these Outline, all subtask inherits from Parents and i'll checked all. On the next days the subtasks appears in my to-do list again.
This is it. This is perfekt.
But when i change after 2 Days the effort of Meals. The subtasks change to "Once" and after i'll checked all on a day....these tasks didn't appear on my todo-list on the day after.
Is this a bug or a feature?
I hope you understand my probs?
How do you handly daily repeating task? Do Set up each task with routinely (1 Day and some lead time)?

I never noticed an option "Inherits from parents" on the iphone version - neither on the Mac Version.
AFAIK im the subtasks are "once" they should automatically starting to become be due whenever the parent is scheduled. But one reason for your problem might be that you checked the subtasks, but not the parent task each day?
Kurz auf Deutsch: hast Du jeweils am Ende des Tages auch "Meals" abgehakt? Denn "Meals " determiniert in deinem Fall - so nicht die Subtasks andere Zeitangaben haben - wann die Subtasks in der Todo-Liste wiederkommen ...

Yes i check every day the parent task "meals"
But on the next day the tasks (parent and the subtask), wouldn't be cleared.
Now i try it with the Windows Trail Version again. I delet all task, and create them new.
I sync all tasks with the Iphone. And under taskdetails of the subtasks, stands "inherits from parents" but when i change something, like the effort it changes to "once"

Ja ich habe "Meals" abgehackt.
Was mich stutzig macht, ist folgendes:
Ich erstelle, oben genannte tasks und Subtasks mit der Windowstrail.
Lösche alles vom Iphone und syncronisiere. Wenn ich dann in den Taskdetails nachschaue steht dort: "Inherits from parent"
Aber nach dem ich dann am effort eines tasks(parent oder Subtask) veränderungen vornehmen, steht hinterher bei allen subtasks nur noch "once".
Die Frage die sich mir immer noch stellt ist, was mehr Sinn macht, inherits from parent....oder jeden subtask auf routinely einstellen. Habs nämlich gestern abend alles ein 3tes mal neu gemacht, damit es auch funktioniert.

First, i dont know of any german webpages or communities which discuss LifeBalance. I guess this forum is the best place anyway, since no one seems to have problems so far because of some german sentences :)
I'm still trying to reproduce your problems, but my LB seems to behave differently. Maybe thats also because i am using the combo Mac/ipod
Now on in German, for more specific stuff - again, if some moderator or user wants a translation, i will be happy to provide one :)

Also wenn Du willst das alle Subtasks dasselbe verhalten zeigen wie der Parenttask, dann müssen sie auf "once" eingestellt sein. zB wenn du jeden zweiten Tag Laufen gehen willst, und danach auch noch deine Laufdaten im Computer eingeben willst, könnte es so aussehen:
- Laufen (routinely, every 2 days)
-- einmal ums Dorf laufen (once)
-- in Computer Laufdaten importieren (once)
Willst Du aber jeden zweiten Tag Laufen, aber deine Daten nur eimal im Monat updaten ist folgendes wahrscheinlich sinnvoll:
- Laufen (once)
-- einmal ums Dorf laufen (routinely, every 2 days)
-- in Computer Laufdaten importieren (routinely, every 1 months)
