Reviews
I am one of those people that never manage to keep my review time sacred as David Allen would like. Yes, I'm a struggling GTD person because it does make sense to me. That being said, I've come up with an idea from looking at other products that I've implemented in LB and thought I'd share.
Whenver I create a new LB task, it falls into one of four areas:
- Area of Focus (non-ending things)
- Long Term Project
- Short Term Project (Generally I've successfully identified all tasks involved)
- Task
For Areas of Focus, and Long Term Projects, I immediately create a task called Review X. So, for example if my long term project is to "Invent a New Widget", my first task is "Review Inventing a New Widget". I set this to Routine, a smaller than average effort, and give it a time frame based on how often I need to look at it. For a project, this is usually weekly. As I move into higher areas of focus, such as "Take Care of Myself" I might set it to monthly or quarterly.
The goal of this is for me to take a few minutes, look over all the items under that topic, and think about what else I might be doing, or if I'm even on the right track. This approach allows me to take advantage of travel times on airplanes, waiting rooms, etc. to make sure I don't drop things.

Awesome
This is a really great idea for GTDers. I'm a beginner myself. I haven't even read David Allen's book, but I've read a lot about it online. I have had a hard time figuring out how to do reviews, and this sounds like it would work well.
