Including places

Hello all,

I have a place called "Internet" and another called "Shopping mall". When I needed to buy a birthday present, I didn't know where I would buy it, so I created a third place called "Buy" and included that place in both of the others.

The problem is that now when I select "Shopping mall", the task shows in the Todo list even when that place is closed, because "Buy" is always open. I could restrict the opening hours of "Buy" but then the task would not alway show under the "Internet" place, which has other settings.

What would you do?

Mall vs Buy

Hi lakeplacid,

I had a similar problem. I have a place called "Away" and a place called "Store". What I wanted to do was to isolate "Store" for items which I needed to buy eg: household items or a grocery list. I was using "Away" for making a list of things I needed to accomplish while out doing errands. Well, similar to you I had "Store" as part of "Away" which really didn't give me what I wanted. I couldn't find a way either to make an isolated list. I think the problem is that we are trying to be too fine in detail.

I find that even though I now have "Store" as part of "Away" I can easily separate the two after printing to take with me on errands.

Bottom line ... perhaps we shouldn't try to be so detailed.
