Sync problems with OS X 10.5.5?
Hi,
Yesterday, I updated to OS X 10.5.5. Now isync complains that more than 5% (~70) tasks will be updated every time that I sync. I tell it to sync, but it updates the same tasks again on the next sync. It looks like that on each sync it is moving the completed dates back by one day for all completed tasks written by Life Balance before the 10.5.5 update. For example, on one sync the completion date is changed from 9/7/08 to 9/6/08 and on the next sync it is changed from 9/6/08 to 9/5/08, ...
My typical workflow, which had been working fine, is: update ToDo list in Life Balance, Life Balance exports tasks to Palm Tasks (Treo 650), sync Life Balance on Mac and Palm and sync Palm Tasks and Calendar databases with iCal.
Software used:
Missing Sync for Palm OS 6.0.4 (199)
Life Balance for Palm 3.5
Life Balance for Mac 4.1
The problem appears to be with the Life Balance conduit since I can since just Calendar/Tasks or just Life Balance fine. Here is my latest test:
-replace LB, Calendar, and Task DBs with a backup from this morning
-run LB on Palm, export ok
-sync just M/S Events and Tasks, ok
-run LB on Palm, no changes to dates
-sync just LB, overwrite Mac with Palm data, no Calendar/Task sync, ok
-sync LB, M/S Events and Tasks together, now the completion dates in the Palm DB have changed and isync is warning of the changes
Has anyone else encountered this or have any suggestions? I will keep experimenting.
Thanks,
Bryan

We will look into that...
Hi there Bryan,
Thanks for posting about this. It may be that Apple changed something that we missed. We will be sure to look into this to try to reproduce the problem here. We will want to see what's going on with that.
Thanks again,
