We had some other long ago old posts that were similarly truncated. What we know is that the problem in the forum database originated sometime before the transfer to the new server. The data was not there in the last set of backups before the move. Everything we had was transferred. (8+ years?)
At some point, we may need to archive the old stuff, especially if the truncation turns out to affect a lot of the old posts. I would rather not confuse people with that.
Someone did manage to come up with and post a new link to a copy of one of the old posts by Ratz, so maybe there is someone out there with a link to this one too.
Wish I could be of more help. Sorry.
Maybe we can just start a new, fresh conversation on a similar topic, and it will be just as helpful.
Maybe Ratz can just repost what he taught us before. The latest contribution (though a bit old) has been working best for me. I just wanted to check some points raised before and couldnt read the article in full. I should have printed it out before.

Not sure when, some posts lost...
Hi there Mark,
You haven't done anything wrong.

HI,
