Welcome! -- Please read me before you post

Welcome to our "Life Balance Living Room" where we are hosting a perpetual house party where we all can celebrate the accomplishments of our fellow guests who are out there making things happen and shaking things up, each and every day!

Please feel free to post whenever you hit a personal milestone, get something done, check off a project, weather a change, or establish a new set of habits! You can also find encouragement here to figure out what the next steps to take are to make a long term goal happen for you!

From now on, we would prefer that software suggestions be sent to the new and improved email support form.

You can find that here:

http://www.llamagraphics.com/support/email.html

The reason for this is that many requests are now repeats that we are familiar with and that are already in our database in one form or another for future consideration. Sending suggestions via email will allow us to track those requests more objectively. More importantly, it will allow us to spend a lot more of our time and effort coding. At this point, we think it is in the best interest of our customers for us to be spending more time developing features than discussing their relative merits and pitfalls in the forums.

With your cooperation, we can concentrate the discussion here on helping customers get started, get more done, get on with it when they get stuck, and use the Life Balance software product line more effectively.

Many people have requested more concrete examples, more sample files for different situations and this forum is an excellent place to share that kind of experience with the group.

We have also customized the forums so that they now accept Life Balance exchange files (.LBE) as an uploadable file type! So this will make it much easier for everyone to compare notes and set ups.

When you've completed a project, or you have done something interesting, please post the .LBE file and tell us about it! We've found that many times the completed project looks quite a bit different and has evolved in unexpected ways from where you start out. The steps you actually take to complete a project are more interesting and involved than they may have been when you first imagined doing it!

Your llamas love hearing about your specific projects and what you are doing! The specifics help us imagine how we can serve those projects better!

Have fun! Encourage each other! Share your success stories! Get a pat on the back! Enjoy the party, and pass the guacamole! :)

Best wishes,
