How can I enter tasks and their durations and then do time billing where the tasks and durations are listed with totals per project invoice.

On the mac side, you can probably make an automator script or applescript that could tie into whatever you are using for invoicing.

On its own, Life Balance is for more time management, rather than doing time billing.

Related concepts though for many folks, though.

Using DayNotez

Munir,

You can use Natara DayNotez to record your tasks once you've completed them in LifeBalance. There is an extra step involved, unfortunately. Once you've checked the task off in LB, you can edit the record in DayNotez and add the end time of the task which gives you the length. I use this to get an aggregate look at where I'm focusing my efforts.

Using the Tag feature in DayNotez helps sort the records. For example, I have tags associated with my major work and personal roles that are color coded. So I can glance and filter to look at tasks as they relate to certain roles. You can also use tags associated with certain projects to allow you to look at the time spent working on individual projects. But, you do have to do some record keeping.

I update this when I have a break at work. Hope this helps!
