Task in the future
Hi.
I am a new (very excited) user.
Have one question:
Is it possible to insert a task into LB which is to be activated in the future.
For example: now it is August and want to buy new sky outfit for a winter vacation in November.
That means, optimally, I would life to enter into LB a task called "buy sky outfit" with a starting date set to say... october 20th and due date November 5th.
Is that possible?!
You see, I strongly believe that besides an address-book, LB can fully replace a complete PIM.
It can function as a calendar (tasks with due dates) task manager and note taker, but the fact that I cannot make entries that should appear in my outline and ToDo list in the future forces me to use a standard calendar (where I don't have to see an entry that will become relevant in one year - not even at the very bottom of a ToDo list)
Cheers,
Gavriel.

You Can Enter Future Tasks in LB Outline

If I understand you correctly, Gavriel, then yes, you can enter a task in LB OUTLINE to be activated later.
For your example, you would enter the task "buy sky (ski?) outfit", "by due date" November 5th and set lead time "1 week" (or is it 2 weeks? you have to play with it but I believe the LB add the task to to To Do List 3 lead times?), and add Places. Mid-October, "buy sky outfit" should show up on your To Do List.
"forces me to use a standard calendar (where I don't have to see an entry that will become relevant in one year - not even at the very bottom of a ToDo list)"
I am not clear on what you mean with the last part.
LB To Do List will not include "buy sky outfit" until October so if you enter the above task and tested it now, you won't see it on the list (and may make you conclude that you can't schedule future task.) Of course, you can set a long lead time, say 2 months in your example, and "buy ski outfit" will show up on your To Do List today --- but that defeats the purpose of LB balancing feature and you end up seeing a task way too early.
Actually, the above reason is why I use DateBk with LB --- see my answer in your other post.
