As a Palm- and a WIN XP user I feel there is a BIG focus on APPLE at this moment on this site....
Yes, I know that Apple has a coooooool cellphone. A cooool iPod Touch, A coool new - Worlds thinnest laptop.... etc. etc. etc. etc..... Yes, I know that Apple has something called Applescript.... and so on......
I like Appels design and yes.. It´s rather cool...
BUT...
As a Palm- and a WIN user I feel that the wind are blowing "the Apple-direction"... and I wonder.....
have you Llamas forgot us poor 4 or 5 Palm-users, or maybe we are more Palm-users than that ????
When are there an upgrade or when are there an esseay that the Palm users would read and appeal to ???.-
Yes, I know that Palm once a opon a time was a PDA that was in frontline...... but today... well, there are a few of us that had payed a licens-fee for either a single Palm- or a Win licens or perhaps - as I did...payed for an bundled Palm/WIN licens...
I have a question... Why this hysterical Apple-fever ?
And when will it be some articals for the Palm-users ???
From my point of wiew... there is a lot of fruit on this site for the moment..... and as we all knew.. fruit is good for the health...

Greeetings from a rainy Sweden.... (it looks that the spring finally is finding it´s way to Sweden.. and there is "hope for life").. spring is arriving... after that.... , the summer is spreading the heat over the country ( we hope) .... holiday-time is coming... free time to chill, free time to have a good time with the spouse.... but there are still a couple of months before this is happening....
but don´t you noticed that the weeks are getting shorter and shorter and shorter and that the months are passing by in a quicker and a quicker pace from year to year..
suddenly there is this moment of " HAPPY NEW YEAR ! " .. (already ????... what the h**l ??)
is this life ?....

I think you are experiencing a well known phenomenon known as "The grass is always greener on the other platform." :-)
But, you are not entirely wrong about the focus on the Mac side, so I will do what I can to explain where we are with things.
You may not be aware that my aunt Melissa died just less than a year ago and I was on her hospice care team for many months. Stuart took on full responsibility to take care of virtually every aspect of the business while my mom and I helped to take care of Melissa and her family. Development work never stopped, but it was very slow going. Yes, I did definitely put my family first once Melissa's cancer recurred, and some of the business stuff had to go on the back burner.... set to simmer... temporarily. That is not a decision that I regret. I trust our customers to be sophisticated enough to understand why that was necessary. It is Life Balance software that we're talking about, after all, and most of our customers share the experience of dividing their time between family and work issues too.
We have done a stunning job of rebounding from that and rebuilding our momentum. We may be small, just three little llamas, but we're packing a punch! The fact that people are even mentioning Llamagraphics and Life Balance in the same sentence as Omni, David Allen or Franklin Covey is an astonishing accomplishment! And at the end of last year, we were honored to have been mentioned in the Wall Street Journal too! I mean, come on... WOW!
We certainly are aware that we still have much to do yet!
The new mac version has many big ticket features in it, for newbies and power users. Apple is certainly on a winning streak, and taking advantage of their momentum is part of our strategy. The Mac upgrade was very ambitious for us. We knew that we needed to concentrate on getting that Mac version out into the world and now we need to be talking about it, supporting it and promoting it. It would be silly for us to be quiet about it now!
That does not mean that the other platforms are unimportant, or that there won't be more updates on the other platforms in the coming year too. I hope that now that you understand the whole story, you'll also see that given our very specific circumstances for both the business and our personal lives, in that context.... we decided to focus our efforts to push Life Balance v4 out the door first.
Also, please don't forget that we ALSO just posted free updates for you Windows and Palm folks too. We are up to 3.4.1.
Be sure that you have downloaded the latest there. And stay tuned...
