My advice is to pick the section it contributes to the most...
If you think about the to do list for a moment, rather than the pie charts, the task will appear on the to do list in the order of its calculated priority, and while there are many factors in that, the "importance" slider has a lot of oomph in that calculation.
Of course, not knowing what the task is, and what the goals are... another possibility is that there is ambiguity in how you are describing the goals and tasks.
I will think some more about how I am setting this all up. I know that the assignment of a single task isn't really going to make a big difference overall. Thanks again.
