Life Balance, iCal, Google Calendar, and iPhones
This is a bit of a convoluted post -- I apologize. Anyhow, I peeked at LB 1+ years ago, when I had a Palm, thought LB was awesome, but then got an iPhone and ended up not purchasing LB.
Separately, I've since started managing my calendar on Google Calendar, because it more easily lets other family members add events. I then use iCal essentially as a conduit, to get the Google Calendar events to the iPhone. Kludgy, at best...
Now, I'm looking at LB again. While hoping to see an iPhone version eventually, which would be incredible, I know it might be some time...
In the meantime, has anyone had success using the LB hooks to iCal, and then synchronized between iCal and Google Calendar?
Barring that, is there a way to have Life Balance communicate directly with Google Calendar?

Problem with that is that the calendar becomes read only
You can subscribe to a Google calendar in iCal. And then Life Balance and iCal can sync.
The problem is that subscribed calendars become read only in iCal, and then any changes that you make to the calendar in Life Balance will not get pushed out.
I hope that helps to clarify what the situation is at the moment with that.

Thank you for the
Thank you for the response.
I think another 'solution' would be to use software like "Spanning Sync" or "BusySync", which claim to perform 2-way synchronization between iCal and Google Calendar. But using that to integrate Life Balance seems to be a level of complexity that is just asking for frustration.
I think I'll go ahead and purchase Life Balance now, and hope that if / when you release an iPhone version, that you'll consider an upgrade path.
Thanks again!
