Any LB updates wrt iPhone?

Hello All,
I've been a big fan of Life Balance for a year or so.
My wife runs an incredibly hectic schedule and things are falling through the cracks (or should I say chasms?).
I want to get her the LB software, but we both have iPhones.
Since LB doesn't run on iPhone yet, I'm apprehensive about spending $100.00+ on a Palm, then spending $100.00 on the LB Mac Desktop/Palm OS combo...only to have an iPhone version released in the near future...in which case I'd have a Palm which I no longer needed (and would sell, probably at a loss), as well as a license for the Palm and not the iPhone...which I'm sure I'd have to pay an Upgrade fee for.
Hence the question in the title of this post....any updates as to an LB release for iPhone?

Life Balance already provides SOME support for iPhone...
Hi there Justin,
Keep in mind that one of the major features we added for the Life Balance v 4.x upgrade was to provide iCal sync services support. This already provides some data flow between Life Balance and your iPhone through iCal.
Obviously, that is not everything you would want from Life Balance on iPhone, but we considered it was a step in the right direction while we and other developers and customers tried to convince Apple to let third party apps on the phone. Hurray! We got that message across to the powers that be, and Apple provided an SDK with developer tools on March 7, just a few weeks ago.
Now that Apple has provided a way for developers like us to write software for the iPhone, (the all important SDK) ...we are working on providing an app that will run natively on iPhone. We have a lot to learn and the tools are not final, and not everything makes sense yet.
The point is, you are not stuck while we are working on things here. You already have choices. We are providing support for Palm customers and if you get a new Palm... you have a nice new Palm.... and full Life Balance functionality.
In the meantime, we are paddling ahead to catch the iPhone wave with some limited support already in version 4 of Life Balance. So if you already have iPhones, you can use the sync services features!

I agree with Malcolm! I've been slogging with Treo since the 300 (now on 700p), and about done with it; Palm seems always behind the curve, and they want to much for it at that. Tried the PPC 6700, such a piece of junk Sprint took it back a year later! SICK TO DEATH OF MICROSOFT!!!
So, I am ready for iPhone when you are.

Suddenly looks like I might be an iPhone user too!
Between having lost my Palm (don't ask) and Caroline wanting to upgrade to the new iPhone (coincidentally being released the day before her birthday), it looks like I might soon have my own iPhone, so I'm now rooting for (and poised to beta test) the iPhone version. No iCal syncing for me, though, since I'm on Windows. Hmm, maybe I should upgrade my desktop to a Mac while I'm at it....

Hey ! Keep Going! I can imagine that bringing LB to the Iphone is more than a chore, but you have lots of people root toot tooting for ya'll!

Mobile software development can be pretty tricky. I'm personally happy with the tools provided by Apple, and it is less of a chore in some ways, but I'm under Non Disclosure Agreements with the mother ship, and I can't say too much about that.
I will also add that I really do appreciate the encouragement on this project, which is an important one for us. There's a lot to think about on it.

I bought my iPhone on release day, trusting in the technology gurus to eventually bring my beloved Life Balance onto my iPhone. I am now waiting with bated breath for the release! Life Balance on my iPhone will be the crowning glory of my iPhone. I'm sending much encouragement your way on this project!

Hello @All,
I'm using LB since years on my old Newton2100 and it's hard to wait for an announcement that LB will be available as a application via AppStore on my iPhone.
I tried various other web-based solutions but nothing was comparable to LB from my perspective.
Just to make it clear: It's extremly hard to wait for my favorite winner application to have it on my iPhone.

I'm always delighted to hear from our Newton folks too. A LOT of our Newton customers simply share the vision, and your enthusiasm and support over the years has been a real joy in keeping this enterprise (read, perhaps, "folly") going!
It is extremely gratifying to hear that what we do with Life Balance, continues to be useful for people over the long haul.
Of course, I find the software helpful myself and don't want ever to do without it, either. As the software's mom... I'm kind of partial to it. :-)

OK - the app store is up! Any word when Life Balance will be in the app store? It's THE main app I want on my phone. Please tell me it's coming soon!
