Saying Hello
I'm Mallory, and I've owned LB for a few years, and had to burn out close to twice trying to keep life together before I've seriously "come back." I'm a certified time management trainer by Franklin Planner, and have simply stumbled all over how simple LB proclaims to be, but "can't be." At age 61 with many wins and losses, I gotta say I'm not sure anything but this program will work. BUT I've had to really define what I mean by "work." The definition is where I've missed it I think. Work to me means much more now - after surviving prostate cancer, getting to the sunset of my career, and having a grandson. I could say much more, but suffice it to say, I'm glad I'm smart enough to come back to this program. There's much I still want to accomplish in life, and I know it MUST be balanced. I am wide open and hungry for any suggestions from the forum, and certainly willing to share any wisdom I "think" I may have gained along my path.
I'm glad to be amongst ya!!!!

Thanks for posting your introduction..
Hi there Mallory and welcome to the forums.
We are glad to have you and your perspective on life.
I personally don't think that living a balanced life in the modern age is ever simple, but I do think that it is worth the effort, and that tools like Life Balance need to be thoughtful about how they assist that process.
I see so much need out there for time for reflection, for reenergizing. There are many many people (even among our very skillful customers) who mistake the swirl of getting a lot done with true productivity. Productivity requires both creativity and selection.
Creativity requires bringing tapping into the best of yourself. Muses cannot be bullied.
Selection means making good decisions about what to do. It helps to choose the best of the opportunities (even when the choices are confusing, or you are choosing the lesser of two weevils :-) ). It helps to be able to identify the best activities, the best that life can offer you right now. Life throws so much at us.
We are glad to have you with us.
Best wishes,
