... and I am a frustrated musician.

Frustrated because I have to work and I don't have time for my music.

Well that is not strictly true. I am working towards starting my own business so that I can have more free time. I would get 2 hours back per day that I spend travelling to and from work. Plus I have no career path where I am. I work in a fun place but I don't want to be a web developer all my life.

Money really is not that important to me, as long as I can pay the bills and bring in my fair share for the mortgage, bills, holidays and it is enough to keep my wife and child (2nd one due 27th August - just over 3 weeks away) in a comfortable place. With the second child due so soon I am doing nearly everything around the house - except the laundry as my wife doesn't trust me with it. I do everything at 40 degrees C, when some things need 30 and others 50 ..

I am going to start dragging my Treo 680 around with me as well as my iPhone, just so that I can use Life Balance. I have been rudderless since I started leaving my 680 at home and not using Life Balance.

Today I signed up for Remember The Milk but after a few minutes on the web site abandoned it - I wanted to create a location called "home". It showed me a Google map of the world and I had to click on the map to create it. I'm not hunting down the post code of very place I want to add just to add some locations!!

So I am back to Life Balance and hopefully running my own Web Consultancy in a year from now with loads of late mornings, little work, loads of music and lots of joy.
