Resolved - hotsync HH => desktop (mac) erase only all dates, not tasks

I recently performed a hotsync with my treo 650. I went to custom and initiated handheld overwrites desktop. Result is that ALL the information which was in my calendar, both on the handheld and on my computer has been erased!
( I manage my dates only via LB, so they actually were linked to palm-calendar, there is also no LB id, there is nothing)
this reproduceable.

Version conduit/Mac/palm: 3.26

This sounds like a case of syncing with the wrong file. Please check. If you sync with the wrong file and overwrite - there could be exactly the sort of trouble you describe.

The cure, of course, is to locate the right file on the desktop and sync with it.

I also create a new file import the old data via import file and - the same.
Only Mac overwrites HH works correct ( all todo and appointments on the HH )
When I change to " Synchronize" or HH overwrites Mac the appointments and only these were erased, all other items were updated.

any hints ? is there a bug ?
Version 3.2.6. on Mac ( 10.4.5 ) and on Palm Treo 650
