Fatal Alert during Hot Sync Palm T2 - iBook Mac
I have read the posts with the T5 conduit problem.
Here is some info for you.
I am a new LB user who hoped LB would make it easier to get my life tasks sorted. Now I have equipment that does not work! I purchased the desk top and the handheld versions of LB. Not many Hot syncs before it all locked up. Absolutely frustrating!!!!
The following happens when LB Hot sync is set at 'Synchronize"
Palm - "Fatal Alert. Memory Mgr.c, Line 4613 Chunk under-locked"
Mac - "Unknown sync error (16385)
When LB Hot sync is set at 'Do Nothing' the Hot Sync process runs smoothly through to 'Succesful operation'
Other information
LB 3.2.6 on both Palm and Mac
Mac iBook - Mac OS 10.3.9
License codes entered into LB on Palm and iBook.
What do I need to do to fix the above problem. I need some help please.

You might want to visit the support center and possibly open a ticket, which may get a faster response than the forum will.

As Jon says, opening a ticket usually gets your problem solved quicker.
Definitely, it would get a faster response.
We have found the chunk message to be related to hacks - we have had a report of this message recently and so there is an article in the knowledgebase now, with a link to the Palm support article about this message and its relationship to hacks.
Shutting down hacks fixed the problem! If you find out what application is causing the problem, please let us know.
Sending in a ticket will result in the llama's answering, usually on the same day or (if it is an unusually heavy mail day or the weekend) a couple of days.
I will be on vacation next week - so try to look in the knowledge base while I'm gone!
Best wishes,
Jean
