Although most of our time is spent on our Life Balance™ line of products, we sometimes accept consulting assignments from other companies. Here are some of the organizations we've helped recently.
Ocean Dog Club
Ocean Dog Club is a brand new dog day-care facility in Pawtucket, RI that provides daycare, boarding, training and grooming services for your Rhode Island pet. Their newly renovated facility includes a 6,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled indoor space with rubberized floors, divided play spaces and an observation area for owners.
We used our experience with Drupal to bring Ocean Dog Club's web site from a set of Photoshop mock-ups to a fully interactive web site with news stories, blogs, photo galleries and an email newsletter.
Edgewood Sailing School
The Edgewood Sailing School teaches sailing, racing and cruising to both kids and adults in the Providence, RI area. Located in the historic Edgewood Yacht Club at the top of the Narragansett Bay, the sailing school provides a safe, educational and fun introduction to sailing for new students, with opportunities for sailors to improve their skills through advanced classes, one-design racing and coastal navigation.
After taking classes at the sailing school, we volunteered to modernize their web site, student and billing records. We converted the web site to Drupal, making it much easier for the staff to post news stories and photos. We tied the school's FileMaker database directly to the web site, so that course and schedule changes made in FileMaker appear immediately on the internet. We also developed custom Drupal modules to handle course listings, student registrations, and scoring of regattas.
