Thanks for being part of the Life Balance picture...

As November rolls in, we see that Thanksgiving is just around the corner! I just want to chime in early with our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has become part of our Life Balance family picture over the years. Customers, clients, business partners, friends, family and those who cheerfully participate in helping us keep Llamagraphics interesting.
Every day, like all of you, we face lots of ongoing challenges - technical, business, personal. Everybody has more to do than ever, and life is full of stresses, complications, and crazy busy days. Burn out serves nobody well. We believe in balancing those challenges with healthy doses of rest, self care, and fun to be able to stay sharp, effective and cheerful. :-)
Your success stories, suggestions and enthusiastic support for what Life Balance is all about are what makes it worth while. We love hearing from you. It's amazing to hear about your plans and life's goals. We believe in YOU, your positive energy and all that you do for those close to you and for the world!
Drop us a line, check in, or post a comment to let us know what you got done in 2010, and what projects are still a work in progress!
And as always, we thank YOU!
Happy Thanksgiving Season!

Thank you for your thoughts
I have always liked the philosophy of Life Balance. It chimes with my view of life and helps me manage tasks like nothing else. I've tried other software, but Life Balance is the only one I keep coming back to.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thoughts on iPad
I too, keep coming back to Life Balance, despite trying other task management software on my iPad. Catherine, it's been six months since your posting on iPad development. Though I love your work/life balance philosophy, isn't that a bit long to keep your faithful customers in the dark? Is Life Balance still a going concern? Please let us know if we can expect an iPad version, or at least release a "dual" version that simply upgrades the resolution for the iPad, so that we can use the iPhone version on it. Thanks!
Thanks... iPad is a work in progress
Hi there Phillip,
It has been six months since THAT posting, but I have posted three other related stories in October - which you seem to have overlooked.
We have also mentioned here and there, and now HERE again, that we ran into a bit of a false start with iPad, and had to re-think some of our ideas for it. We are over that hurdle and resuming course and speed.
Also, we recently posted that Life Balance Palm OS conduits are being removed from Life Balance.
The main reason for phasing out Palm OS conduit support was to remove that legacy code to make it easier to do our development work on the other platforms. > > and that includes the iPad work!
We're currently working on broadening our iOS support to include the iPad, reworking our iCal sync support in response to Apple's changes to the MobileMe calendar, and preparing our Mac version for sale on the new Mac App Store. It also appears that our work to fix iCal sync may allow us to support Google calendar on all platforms.
There's much happening on many fronts. It all takes a while.
Your patience is appreciated. Llamas are useful, reliable and steady on their feet creatures, but not so jack-rabbity or lickety-splitty. They also have big ears... to listen carefully.
We understand that hitting the 2x button is not a substitute for having a native iPad version. It is also not a simple matter of resizing the screens in the existing app, because we have to pass Apple's testing. Their user interface guidelines discourage full screen transitions, and many of our detail screens (like the Task details) would look silly full screen on the iPad. I don't think that we would be approved if we went that route.
Nevertheless, we have work in progress on an approach to the iPad UI that we do believe in, and are looking forward to rolling out to you all as soon as we can.
Sorry for the delay in getting the iPad version out there, and for the perceived delay in communication... we have our strengths and weaknesses.
Best wishes,
--Catherine--*
Odd. I don't see anything in
Odd. I don't see anything in the Llama log in October. Before this post all I see is a post from May.
