Race for the cure coming up...

Less than a week to go until the Race for the Cure in Boston.

Emotions defy explanation. I can't hope to wrap them up for you in a box, even given miles and miles of pretty pink ribbon. Or 5K to be precise.

I'm going to run on Sunday with thousands of others who share a common goal. I'm running in memory of my aunt and in honor of our family. Last I checked, the Boston area runners (and walkers) this year have raised over $600,000 to help find better answers for families. One emotion in the whole mix that is easy to share is that I'm proud to be a part of that effort.

Your support is truly appreciated to help me reach my goal in this year's race -- this could include cheering, waving of pom poms and/or general well wishes for swift moving feet -- And of course, contributions of any amount are welcome. They do add up, and the money will be put to good use by the Susan G. Komen foundation!
