Llama Llog — a view from the peak
New look for the release notes page

One of our customers was looking for what's changed in Life Balance for iPhone v5.0.3, and in passing said that the new software could be mistaken for a well guarded secret. Oh dear! Well, that's certainly not what we had in mind.
To us, the web site is looking like "all iPhone, all the time." We can hardly keep up with the number of email messages and comments coming in. Great energy from our vantage point.
However, that was absolutely right. We've been focused on posting information as it would be viewed from the App Store, and we actually missed some of the most prominent locations on our own site for telling folks what we're doing with this stuff! Silly llamas. *sigh*
In the process of correcting that, we decided that we also needed to spiff up the view for the release notes. It was looking a bit dowdy.
So, we hope you like the look of the new release notes. Let us know what else we might have missed!
Enjoy!
This message is simply wonderful

This message, with all that it implies about the growth of the mobile industry in the last 15 years, I just find simply wonderful.

Road to iPhone: Screen Rotation

You never really know a new platform until you use it every day. Sure, you can read Human Interface Guidelines to get the basics, but the subtler aspects of user interaction really demand that you spend some time every day with a device to learn its strengths and weaknesses.
