See README file for more details. If you order Life Balance after 4/8/97 you will automatically get version 1.1 when the software is sent to you.

Which version to install

Life Balance now comes in two versions, one for Newton 1.x units, and one for Newton 2.x units. Use the Newton 1.x version if you have an older Newton or need to beam outline items to someone using an older Newton. All other users should install the Newton 2.x version, which is smaller and faster.

There may be a delay the first time you run the new version of Life Balance while it updates your outline. After that, it should run much faster.

The following files will use your existing Life Balance 1.0.3 package to produce the new Life Balance 1.1 Newton package file.

Pick the appropriate updater program from the table below to update the Newton package on your Macintosh or Windows 95/NT desktop machine first, then you can download the new software package to your Newton.

Newton 1.x	Download the Macintosh updater program that will produce the file Life Balance 1.1 for 1.x	Download the Windows Updater program for Life Balance 1.1 for Newton 1.x that will produce the Windows file LB-11-1x.PKG
