About our company...

Llamagraphics, Inc. – creators of Life Balance software for Palm OS, Macintosh and Windows – provides resources related to the process of balancing work, home, and leisure activities to optimize personal productivity and happiness.

We are a small, personally and family funded, family run business, founded in 1993. We started the company to develop Life Balance™ for Newton, the pioneering handheld computer by Apple. We wrote the Life Balance software because we ourselves needed it, and we were gratified to discover that there were customers out there who also really liked the idea. While we no longer offer the product for Newton, our priorities have naturally evolved with the growing handheld computing industry. Llamagraphics is now an active participant in the Palm Economy with our mobile software product, Life Balance™ for Palm OS.

With the introduction of Desktop Editions of Life Balance for Macintosh and Windows, the Life Balance product family is poised to become even more indispensible to its intensely loyal customer base.

The Llama is our small, powerful and surefooted animal mascot. It was also the mascot for the Newton development team at Apple. Llamagraphics came up with the name Llamagraphics, independently, prior to the release of the Newton when reading about an historical account of a woman explorer who traveled in South America in the early 1900s.
